Since many of us have to try to decode files that come attached to internet messages, you might be interested in other utilities. If you are on a UNIX system, your system administrator should have the proper tools. If you are on a PC (as I am), there are numerous decode facilities available. Most of the major providers (AOL, CIS, Prodigy) have shareware that you can download. The one that has worked well for me has been a program called OMEGA. Does everything, from UUEncode and Decode to MIME pack and unpack. Only costs about $30 to register. I have found it to be very useful and easy to use. If anyone is interested, I can provide more info.
