Hello, You might try a company called Guerreo in Woodland Hills, CA. Talk to Andrew, (818)703-8890. He might still have an old Gerber PC800 still operating which should be able to read the 8" floppies. Regards, Denis Mori Hewlett-Packard Co. Let me try again. We have data on an 8" disks. We do not have an 8" disk drive. The drive was on some old Gerber layout system, which was pushed over the cliff many years ago. Before we got rid of the equipment, an incomplete transfer of data occured. Enough data was transferred so that everyone got a warm feeling that everything got transferred, but alas, not so. So, here I am, with these two 8" floppies, an anxious Management, and a PWB requirement. (Buying the boards where we bought them before is not an option) My trusty board suppliers can not read 8" disk. SO..... How do I get the data off the 8" floppy to my supplier so he can make boards? Any Ideas? Thanks for the input so far. You really make technet a valuable source. ==================================================================== George Franck PWB Product Assurance Phone (703) 560-5000 x2648 E-Systems M/S N408 Fax (703) 280-4613 7700 Arlington Blvd E-Mail: [log in to unmask] Falls Church Va 22046 E-Mail: [log in to unmask] ==================================================================== .......................................................................
