Sometimes, they are pretty nebulous but they may be helpful. Also, HICAM's mechanical standards and other ANSI or ASTM standards may apply (see C. Allman). Also, there is a manual put out by the Navy called Best Practices for Manufacturing (whole title? I don't know) MIL-STD-454 ______________________________ Reply Separator _________________________________ Subject: Re: Cable and Mechanical Workmanship Standards Author: JOHN GULLEY at HICAM-HDQ-OK Date: 10/20/95 5:11 PM Barry I asked this same question a few months ago on the net I was told there are no known documents or specs. If there is I would also like to have them. Thanks and good luck ______________________________ Reply Separator _________________________________ Subject: Cable and Mechanical Workmanship Standards Author: [log in to unmask] at OUT Date: 10/19/95 1:49 PM I am looking for workmanship documents similar to IPC-A-610 for cable assembly, wire harnessing, and mechanical subassembly.
