If the problem you have is ingress or retention of moisture (and associated ionics) then no semi-aqueous process is going to be satisfactory as these involve a water rinse. Some of the glycolether products aka oxygenated alcohols - Prozone Dowanol Zestron etc- can be used solvent/solvent instead of solvent/water, in addition some people use isopropanol instead of water. You would have to take account of the flammability of the IPA before going down this route. Mike Fenner Bonding Services UK [log in to unmask] -------------------------------------- We are currently using Duriod 6002/6010 type PWB's on one of our products and are having problems cleaning the PWB's after soldering and assembly operations. Removal of fluxes and the cleaning fluid (Axarel) from this very hygroscopic material has been difficult inspite of using the Manufacturers recommended process. Any information or sources of potential information relating to resolving this situation would be appreciated. [log in to unmask]
