Hi Ioan- The common way to do rectangles is with an array of pins. As far as repeatability, it's the infamous "it depends". Stamps are commonly used for precision semiconductor die attach purposes, which is a complicated environment because the assembly process is typically pretty slow, so you need a process which doesn't have a huge dependency on how long the material is left out. They work better than a syringe drive by compressed air. Sorry I can' t put any numbers on it.
