Is this the inside of a plastic shell connector?   The flashing debris will cause an insertion/contact issue.

Anyone seen anything like this? Obviously, our concern is that the excess material will get stuffed down the hole during the mating action, and cause an open.

IPC/WHMA-A-620 only cover cracks or tears in this surface, and 610 doesn't address it at all, are any criteria established elsewhere?
