As a board manufacturer, the note makes sense that I can start with half oz copper and plate PTH per normal class 2 requirement. However it is not the best way to write the plating note. I would rather specify 1) Base OR Finished copper thickness, 2) PTH copper thickness. I'm having a curious note in a fabrication drawing and I would like to know if it makes sense. "1.0oz FINISH (0.5oz COPPER + 0.5oz PLATING)" And somewhere else in the notes, ENIG is specified... Ideas? JF ______________________________________________________________________ This email has been scanned by the Symantec Email Security.cloud service.
