Rich, From what I have been able to gather: 1. Cleaning under parts is by far the hard part and a brush does zero there. Good spray action is about all you can do. Your 01005 are pretty small so that might not be a big issue. You definitely won't have issues with vias under the parts holding flux. I would worry if rework flux from your 01005 parts could get around other parts. Again a good spray would help big time. 2. You can rinse in tap water IF you blow off well. (Other folks disagree here but they can make their own suggestions.) If you don't have clean air a rinse in Distilled or DI water will displace tap used during the clean. (Distilled might be better than DI as distillation removes both ionic and polar materials. That is my understanding.)
