Gregg, Actually, you are correct. The pasty white Wonder Bread is so good that it is half broken down before you shove it into the pipe. It's a wonder anyone eats it... Sorry, I could not resist :-) I just don't have any in the house, so I have made do with my own. Way OT, but I initially tested local wildlife's preference for my bread and the store-bought. Crows, wild turkey, rabbit will go for my bread first [no preservatives, etc.]. Opossum and skunk are not finicky. They will eat whichever they come upon first... Small sample sizes, not extremely scientific, results may vary with scale [class] of animals being tested. Depending on where the work is being done. I have shut down the water heater and drained the bottom portion of the water heater to flush out some of the bread debris. Removing aerators and flushing is important. I want to hear what the bottom line is on the un-meltable solder situation when the root cause finally comes out. -----Original Message----- From: TechNet [mailto:[log in to unmask]] On Behalf Of Gregg Owens Sent: Monday, April 02, 2012 4:08 PM To: [log in to unmask] Subject: Re: [TN] NTC- unmeltable solder You guys are all bad!! (in a good way). Actually the bread should be cheap white bread (thinking Wonder Bread) so it will break down faster than say whole wheat.
