I haven't had a chance to read the latest report to get more details, I get that everybody has their agendas, cover-ups, self interests, etc..  But even with all of that, what I found most appalling and oft-ignored, is that even with all of the whisker problems, a few simple lines of code providing a "brake wins" would have saved lives.  I find it inccomprehensible that something so obvious wasn't done.  We'd still have whiskers, but at least some people would still have wives, fathers, friends....
