Pretty intricate piece of machinery. I am often amazed at the things that were created long ago. Created without CNC machining, CAD, and all the other tools that we take for granted today. Here is the page where I found the image. Scroll down to the bottom of the page: http://www.woolandtea.com/machine_knitting/ http://stevezeva.homestead.com/Quiz25b.jpg This is a pencil sharpener. A few guessed correctly. It can be found at this page: http://www.antiqbuyer.com/pencil_sharp.html http://stevezeva.homestead.com/Quiz25c.jpg This one is a little tougher. In fact, I don’t know exactly what it is. I found the image at the same web page as the pencil sharpener above. The people that run the web page are not certain what it is either. They think that possibly it is a patent model of some type of seed sorter, or maybe a water turbine, but are not certain. I thought that maybe someone out there might know for sure Here is the link to the page: http://www.antiqbuyer.com/farm.html Steve ______________________________________________________________________ This email has been scanned by the MessageLabs Email Security System.
