I forgot to say the impeller was a retrofit on the machine.

Ummm
The website crashed just after I put the images up, obviously the site
didn't like my pictures either.
As far as I know the surface treatment used is Melonite QPQ.

Your link appears to be broken. I would have liked to seen the photos.
Was the machine brand new or was it retrofitted to be lead free
compatible? Do you know what the impeller was made of? Or was it coated
to protect it from high tin content solder?
