I've used ExpressPCB. I think that is to whom you are referrng, Phil. PCBExpress is a division of Sunstone. The layout software works, but doesn't have a lot of features. I've done a fair number of simple, small boards for the test equipment I design for in-house use. I don't recommend getting their lead-free finish if you will be hand soldering, I didn't have a lot of luck with it. They also have a schematic drawing package that links to their PCB layout package. Unfortunately, you can't export files in a usable format, so if you use their software you must order the boards from them, unless you are making them yourself. There are other free design packages out there that I can look up later at home. They have the layout software, their prices are reasonable and our experience has been very favorable. Leaves more room for toys in the garage. > >Phil > --------------------------------------------------- Technet Mail List provided as a service by IPC using LISTSERV 15.0 To unsubscribe, send a message to [log in to unmask] with following text in the BODY (NOT the subject field): SIGNOFF Technet To temporarily halt or (re-start) delivery of Technet send e-mail to [log in to unmask]: SET Technet NOMAIL or (MAIL) To receive ONE mailing per day of all the posts: send e-mail to [log in to unmask]: SET Technet Digest Search the archives of previous posts at: http://listserv.ipc.org/archives Please visit IPC web site http://www.ipc.org/contentpage.asp?Pageid=4.3.16 for additional information, or contact Keach Sasamori at [log in to unmask] or 847-615-7100 ext.2815 -----------------------------------------------------
