Has anyone seen an IPC reference to the acceptability of pitting in solder mask? I have re-examined IPC-A-600 Rev. G and don't see anything. The pits are only located over the PWB, never on the copper (but sometimes next to it). We strripped the mask to verify that it was not in the laminate. I can post pictures if necessary, but the pits look like pits!
