Not so much a promotion, but, it did not seem to be clear to my supervisors exactly what I was able to do. The CID gave a base line as far as ability. The CID+ showed that I had improved. I'm not sure they still know and I know that most EE don't have a clue. From taking the study courses I did get a lot out of that and has helped me understand more about what is possible to do. I can bring that information to the table during design discussions.
