Not sure why this is an issue... There are lots of places where you can upload a picture and then share it with anyone you please. Flickr, Facebook, Twitpic, Photobucket... the list is extensive. Upload your picture, then post the URL with your e-mail. Steve started his service before all this stuff was so free and easy, and it has prevailed. I like it, because Steve always provides a smile with his upload <grin>. What I don't think should happen is that Steve should be out of pocket for doing this. Suggest we figure out a way to upload a few beers to his account from time to time. I realize Steve has to make a living and may not be able to post pictures as quickly as we need at times. I have learned so much from these pics so that is why this is important to me. I am suggestion a more automatic approach. This solution will allow us to view pictures instantly. If the consensus is that the current system is good enough I do not have a problem with that. My suggestion is to use Google Picasa Web albums. This is a free service created to allow sharing of photos. It also allows pictures to be posted by email. There is a specific email address that is unique to each account. For my personal web album I send an email to llaerum.<secretword>@picasaweb.com. I am using this quite a bit to shate photos with friends and family. The pictures gets posted within a minute or two. The pictures get posted with a caption that is the subject of the email. of the email. All we would have to do when posting pics is to copy the "post-to-picasa" email address. Google gives you 1 Gigabyte of storage so we would have to employ some management and remove the oldest pictures. The only drawback is that Picasa does not allow documents which on occasion would be nice. I am not sure if the admin of technet would have to concur before setting this up? I would like to have some sort of "thumbs up" from the owners of the technet email reflector before setting this up. I volunteer to be the admin. -- Leif Erik Laerum Quality Assurance Manager Texas Memory Systems [log in to unmask] Tel: (713) 266-3200 x468 www.texmemsys.com --------------------------------------------------- Technet Mail List provided as a service by IPC using LISTSERV 15.0 To unsubscribe, send a message to [log in to unmask] with following text in the BODY (NOT the subject field): SIGNOFF Technet To temporarily halt or (re-start) delivery of Technet send e-mail to [log in to unmask]: SET Technet NOMAIL or (MAIL) To receive ONE mailing per day of all the posts: send e-mail to [log in to unmask]: SET Technet Digest Search the archives of previous posts at: http://listserv.ipc.org/archives Please visit IPC web site http://www.ipc.org/contentpage.asp?Pageid=4.3.16 for additional information, or contact Keach Sasamori at [log in to unmask] or 847-615-7100 ext.2815 ----------------------------------------------------- --------------------------------------------------- Technet Mail List provided as a service by IPC using LISTSERV 15.0 To unsubscribe, send a message to [log in to unmask] with following text in the BODY (NOT the subject field): SIGNOFF Technet To temporarily halt or (re-start) delivery of Technet send e-mail to [log in to unmask]: SET Technet NOMAIL or (MAIL) To receive ONE mailing per day of all the posts: send e-mail to [log in to unmask]: SET Technet Digest Search the archives of previous posts at: http://listserv.ipc.org/archives Please visit IPC web site http://www.ipc.org/contentpage.asp?Pageid=4.3.16 for additional information, or contact Keach Sasamori at [log in to unmask] or 847-615-7100 ext.2815 -----------------------------------------------------
