For years, we have been limping along with an old HMP Soldermatics, bench top tinning system. This is just a small 12lb dynamic wave solder pot with an articulating arm that holds various tools. We need to replace this thing with a small, benchtop machine with simple tools that will tin most any configuration of smt or through hole components. I was looking at a Winslow Model 880 with a model 101 solder pot, which looks very much like what we currently have. However, Winslow reports that they no longer manufacture this thing. Does anyone out there know of current production systems or used that are available? I don't need a large Corfin, Winslow or GPD system, the latter two which are no longer made or barely supported. What are some of you other contract manufacturer using? --------------------------------------------------- Technet Mail List provided as a service by IPC using LISTSERV 15.0 To unsubscribe, send a message to [log in to unmask] with following text in the BODY (NOT the subject field): SIGNOFF Technet To temporarily halt or (re-start) delivery of Technet send e-mail to [log in to unmask]: SET Technet NOMAIL or (MAIL) To receive ONE mailing per day of all the posts: send e-mail to [log in to unmask]: SET Technet Digest Search the archives of previous posts at: http://listserv.ipc.org/archives Please visit IPC web site http://www.ipc.org/contentpage.asp?Pageid=4.3.16 for additional information, or contact Keach Sasamori at [log in to unmask] or 847-615-7100 ext.2815 -----------------------------------------------------
