Apparently in some Scottish circles (well at least one) when you go to a friend's house for a party it is "fun" to try and swipe the homeowner's cell phone, take out the battery and put it in a microwave oven for a FEW seconds and then put it back together again. Bad things happen, especially if a person leaves it long enough. Trust me when I say that all cell phone manufacturers can tell. Done that. Twice. Stick took a licking but it kept on running. Now, would anyone dare to put a stick in a microwave? No additional rinsing and air dried at room temperature over ~ 36 hours. Still works fine. David D.
