Kevin When we discussed the usefulness of the internet for a forum in 1992 together with Dieter Bergman and Werner Engelmaier nobody ever thought that the net would once become such a public domain. I do agree that Dieters initial idea of such a platform is misused nowadays for promotional reasons. However, limiting the forum to IPC members seems a very hard restriction for me. Compared to the useful mails, the spams are rare and I can well live with them using my DELETE button.
