Hi, Board sag in oven? Is the oven a belt or edge finger? On each and every piece we install we see, randomly, 4 to 25 open joints after reflow, towards the middle of the row, not at the corners. The pins are coplanar prior to mounting, they are properly seated in the paste before the oven, but something happens during soldering. Since the part has 2 guiding pins, I thought the thermal expansion would make the pins rub on the hole walls and lift the part, so I had one pin cut. This does not seem to work and anyways, the lifted pins are in the middle. What bothers me is that I remember having soldered this type of component in the past, and I have no recollection of this kind of issue. Have you been confronted with this situation before? What could be the cause and what can I do to fix it? Thank you, Ioan Tempea, ing.
