Not only your skin. It's our BRAINS that are calibrated. Not even mighty Union Councils can change that. They will have to brainwrinkle next generation. An example: why do I have to relate the summer breeze to the absolute minus (K) when it's so natural to relate to water (C or F). Furthermore, I believe that we will see still another way of deciding temperature in the future. There are no perfect or eternal ways, everything is 'relative' as said a wise guy. Never would have guessed it! Now THAT [lumber dimensions] is really screwed up! I believe that we humans possess an innate desire to be non-conformists. We may run with the pack to an extent, but we still seek to be 'different'. Maybe that is also some of the issue at hand. I know for myself, when flying on a cold Winter's day, there is no amount of °C to make the windchill from a 30 mph :-) wind blowing in my face feel as cold as a good old fashioned °F!! [It is illogical, even though the magnitude of the °C temp is greater until you get down to -40]. I think that it is because one is Fricking cold, whereas the other is just Chilly cold. The skin is still calibrated in °F!! what's left, anyway... I am a little crazy, I admit it!
