before I try to answer:
1) What is the highest ambient temperature the board will operate in?
2) Are there planes in the board?
3) Are there other high current traces or hot components anywhere around it?
4) Which board material are you using?

If you have an internal trace that is 0.5 oz. copper….   How wide does the trace have to be to hold 30 amps for 2 minutes without burning up the board or loosing the trace.  Any ideas?
