Hello all, Does anyone know if there is extra fairy dust in bath salts (other than anticake and pink food coloring)? For that matter, what's anticake? I need to run liquid thermal shock testing at 300C. We've been using Dow Corning 710. In an open system, kinda cost prohibitive. I gather from MSDSs that we can mix a eutectic somewhere around: Potassium Nitrate: 40-50% Sodium Nitrate: 10-20% Sodium Nitrite: 30-40% Extra credit to any mixing experts that know the exact formula for ~200-350C. I can source the salts a couple blocks away for $, or the mix from across the country for $$$$$. I'd much prefer going down the street. Thanks!
