In time the MAC will start having issues. When you think about the % or MAC users vs. PC users it just makes sense why hackers go after the PC's. As the number of MAC users grow so will the number of attacks. The only reason I have some experience with malware and Trojans is because I have kids and they make it their life's work to hose up all the computers in the house. I have had my fare share of rebuilding and cleaning computers. I have found running Sandboxie http://www.sandboxie.com/ very helpful in almost eliminating all my malware and Trojan problems. If you don't care about download speed and more concerned about security this might be an option. The program opens a virtual machine and any Trojan or malware attached to a website latches onto the virtual machine. When you close the program it kills everything running on the virtual machine protecting your computer. I have it running on the kids computers and have told them to live with the slower speed and that I was done pulling all nighters to save MP3's and photos of their friends. Odd since MACs and PCs are build from the same components? I made the switch to Mac about 8 years ago and wouldn't go back to a PC unless I REALLY had to. That said, sadly our engineering computers and accounts system are all PC's, they have to be because the majority have them. However, our Marantz AOI uses Mac because PC's can't hack-it...hmmm.
