The yield in a circuit board plant can basically be guaranteed to show in your X out ratio since all boards in a panel are effectively joined at the hip and every defect of short/ open and other defect at every stage may lead to an individual coupon being X'd out, so effectively the non X'd out quantity represent the cumulative rolled yield through every process step.
