Everything You Ever Wanted to Know about PC Fab, but were afraid to ask.
Based on the level of current knowledge of the audience, an overview of the manufacturing process will be presented and some practical tips that the designer can implement to make it go more smoothly will be provided. Everything possible will be done to make this interesting enough that no one is bored! Questions relating to the process, procedures, or other aspects of fabrication will be taken. If anyone would like to submit a question in advance, they can incorporated into the presentation. The presenter: Isaac Stringer has been involved in the electronic industry since 1984. That year, we opened KML Engineering which specialized in the film tooling used to manufacture PC Boards and verify the layout. Of course, in those days, everything was done as a tape-up and photo reduced. Multilayer features, like power and ground planes, were created by hand. Within a couple of years, KML acquired a laser photo plotter to serve the needs of designers using software to do board layout and design. In 1995, KML became Vector Fabrication. Vector is a quick-turn and prototype manufacturer well known for high quality boards, delivered on time. Currently Vice President of Vector Fab
