In the dim distant past we've had resistors deliberately reeled upside down for RF reasons. We used millions of them and I don't recall a single failure. Our current policy requires that we repair these, and I feel that to be unnecessary. IPC-A-610D shows this to be an acceptable condition on all classes of product, and our customer has no specific contractual requirement. I'd like to try to change this policy at our facility, and welcome any commentary you might have on the subject. Thanks in advance for your help, Leland Woodall --------------------------------------------------- Technet Mail List provided as a service by IPC using LISTSERV 15.0 To unsubscribe, send a message to [log in to unmask] with following text in the BODY (NOT the subject field): SIGNOFF Technet To temporarily halt or (re-start) delivery of Technet send e-mail to [log in to unmask]: SET Technet NOMAIL or (MAIL) To receive ONE mailing per day of all the posts: send e-mail to [log in to unmask]: SET Technet Digest Search the archives of previous posts at: http://listserv.ipc.org/archives Please visit IPC web site http://www.ipc.org/contentpage.asp?Pageid=4.3.16 for additional information, or contact Keach Sasamori at [log in to unmask] or 847-615-7100 ext.2815 ----------------------------------------------------- ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The information contained within this e-mail and any attachments contained therein may be confidential and/or legally privileged and is for the use of the intended recipient only.
