Hi!

We're having a discussion about conformal coating.

Does anyone have any data about acrylic coating of an EEPROM after the
programmed chip is placed in the socket?

Does the coating cause any problems? Is it a standard practice to mask
the socket, coat the board, install the chip and then coat over the
chip?

Thanks a bunch.

And happy Friday!!

Oil prices have fallen lately. We include this news for the benefit of
gas stations, which otherwise wouldn't learn of it for six months.
