I am not familiar with this, but I think the shelf life standard should be with concomitant requirement – temperature, humidity…

大家上午好：

     请教大家一个问题：对于开封的锡膏多久算失效?一般工厂有规定4小时，有8小时，还有24小时的等等。。请问这些规定有相关的行业标准没有？还是参照锡膏生产商推荐的呢？

    我看了两家锡膏生产厂商的datasheet：一种为alpha OM-338的datasheet上注明Stencil Life大于8小时。我想和大家确认一下这Stencil Life是否为锡膏开封失效时间呢。是否可以理解为在8小时以内都为受控可以正常使用的，超过8小时就不能保证了？  还有一种为AIM NC254的datasheet上注明为 24 hour stencil life。

    我看了一下标准ANSI/J-STD-005 JANUARY 1995 Requirements for Soldering Pastes 中6.2是这样定义的：   

     6.2 Shelf Life  If the stated shelf life on a product is expired,but it meets the performance tests,it may be used.If the material is requalified,the new shelf life shall be considered to be half the stated shelf life.

   请问这J-STD-005 里定义的shelf life 是否只是指存贮时间，还是也可以包括锡膏的开封失效时间呢？ 是否还有其他标准有详细的定义的呢？恳请大家指教。谢谢。
