There are a number of dry wipes available, presumably the one you have heard of has some feature to make it more effective. My 2 cents on wiping: Investing in stencil design/quality can be more cost effective than buying wipe material Most people over wipe Dry is preferable to wet If you perceive the need to wet wipe Do not use IPA, it can lead to clogging and what appears to be paste dry out (making a vicious circle of over wiping) If using a proprietary wet wipe ask supplier for his data showing compatibility with pastes and an improvement in print Happy Friday Mike -----Original Message----- From: TechNet [mailto:[log in to unmask]] On Behalf Of Leland Woodall Sent: Thursday, April 03, 2008 9:58 PM To: [log in to unmask] Subject: [TN] Solvent-Free Stencil Wiper Roll Hi folks. I hope everyone had a great time at APEX. I was scheduled to go, but last minute interruptions prevented this from happening. Maybe next year. Anyway, I understand there's a new stencil wiping paper out there that doesn't require a solvent (I don't the manufacturer). Have any of you used this, and if so, what did you think? If the performance is as good or better, it would be wonderful to run the process without alcohol or Zestron...
