(on a distracting side note that doesn't help anyone:)
 
I would push to get rid of the word PRINTED
before I pushed to remove "circuit" or "wiring"
 
Do you happen to know the logic or background
behind the IPC keeping the word "PRINTED"?

The IPC standards group chose not to get into making the distinctions
and called them simply "PRINTED BOARDS"... leaving out the wiring or
circuit name all together.

The IPC published a standard that addresses documentation or "Printed
Boards" (note they don't say PCB or PWB). It is IPC-D-325 (snip...)
