I have asked JEDEC if they have such a standard, and am waiting for their response. I would expect JEDEC would be the appropriate source for such a document. -----Original Message----- From: TechNet [mailto:[log in to unmask]] On Behalf Of Graham Naisbitt Sent: Monday, December 10, 2007 11:56 AM To: [log in to unmask] Subject: Re: [TN] IPC Documents Dealing with Cleanliness? Hi Rich Thanks for the intro Doug. Now to give you the fullest answer to the IEC question: No there aren't....but I could always write one.....what would you like to see in such a document? No kidding, I genuinely wonder what we would need to have in the document that would be helpful to users. If you have any thoughts, let me know - and if you do know of any groups preparing such a thing, it would be helpful to have contact details. ...and I am bracing myself to see Dewey's response to the Laser v Selective soldering issue....Yikes.
