We are using it for mixed technology boards, that have pad spacings >1mm only, with good results. Surprisingly, the pad to pad planarity actually looks better than the typical Pb HASL. The vendor we are using is Advanced Circuits. -----Original Message----- From: TechNet [mailto:[log in to unmask]] On Behalf Of Phil Nutting Sent: Wednesday, October 24, 2007 10:13 AM To: [log in to unmask] Subject: [TN] Lead-free HASL For years we knew and loved Pb HASL. With the requirements of RoHS HASL took a back seat. Has L-F HASL had the kinks worked out so it is becoming a main stream process? If so, who is doing it and what is the performance of the process? Is it being used for SMT?
