Hi Arnaud, Answering for Ingemar—he most likely will too, vapor phase is used to reflow the assembly, not repair it. What vapor phase does is assure that all SJs will reach the same adequate reflow temperature, rather than a huge variation depending of where a given SJ is located. It allows assured soldering at the lowest possible temperature.
