Attached is the JSTD-033 standard,
actually it does not have any specifics but the looks like <30deg is the
requirement. Our customer's recommendation is control between 40 to
60%RH, 23 +/-5deg.

for moisture sensitive components
All,
Does anybody know what the requirements for moisture
sensitive component storage are? Does IPC/JEDEC J-STD-033 explain how the
storage environment should be? How about controlling the temp from 18C-30C and
humidity from 30%-70% RH? Are they adequate? If we cannot make sure the
humidity is lower than 70% all the time, will applying vacuum packaging solve
the issue as you know the humidity will affect solderability and insulation
resistance. Any comment will be appreciated. Thanks.
