February 3, 2007 We prohibit use of any peelable masking material for sockets or connectors since our experience is that folks tend to probe female contact sockets to remove the material and this spreads the contacts causing intermittent connections. ----- Original Message ----- From: Phil Nutting<mailto:[log in to unmask]> To: [log in to unmask]<mailto:[log in to unmask]> Sent: Friday, February 02, 2007 12:51 PM Subject: Re: [TN] Latex Peelable Soldermask We currently use Techspray "Wondermask P". It does not have the nasty ammonia smell of our old mask material. We us the HB (Heavy Body) type but the manufacturer says they no longer make it; they only make the thinner material which runs too much for application. I'm curious as to what peelable materials others of you are using for this application. Thanks and have a Great Weekend!
