Hi Phil, An uncharacteristically dour assessment, methinks. Especially from one normally so upbeat as you. I found that there were a number of excellent papers and presentations from engineers and experts from around the globe (such as yourself for example... :-) Ad to that the celebration of 50 years of this forum's host, the IPC and a chance to see again many friends who have been long retired, a talk by one of the first two men to set foot on the moon. An entertaining evening with friends and colleagues at the LA Science Center. A pleasant new venue for the annual winter trade show after 30 plus years of going to Anaheim year after year and I think felt it was a very good program.
