Hi Larry: It depends on your cleaning chemistry/temperature/time and impingement. We use three different products based on the cleaning process used: 1. Sharpie Industrial black marker (easiest and quickest to use). 2. Sanford uni-PAINT PX-20 medium line white. 3. Pentel fine tip white. Regards Michael Barmuta Staff Engineer Fluke Corp. We have used a variety of methods to add this number, stamps, permanent ink pens, labels, etc... Does anyone else mark boards in this fashion? If so, what is being used? Our problem is that most methods tend to wash wash off, or get rubbed off, after the cleaning process. The labels we use work well but are very time consuming because they need to be cut into smaller sizes in most cases. Any suggestions?
