For a prototype I am working on for my company, I purchased a 500g tub of Kester EM909 Lead Free No-clean Solder Paste from Mouser.com for $65.00. I opened the tub, used about .25g for one prototype, and now have the tub in a refridgerator at my work. The expiration date is 2007-01-25. Rather than wait for the shelf life to expire, (and to avoid disposal of this material as a hazardous substance), if anyone can use an opened container, please let me know off-list. Kesters' policy is to not buy back unused portions. Thanks, Michael Howell, Research Electrical Engineer MesoSystems Technology 141 NW C Street, Grants Pass, OR 97526 T: 541-956-4031 x1104 F: 541-956-4037 [log in to unmask] Datasheet 96.5/AG03/CU.5 88% http://www.kester.com/Data%20Sheets%5CSolder%20Pastes%5CNo-Clean%5CEM909%20Global%20(13Sep05).pdf Supplement http://www.kester.com/en-us/marketingdocs/EM909%20Supplement%20%20(Mar05).pdf MSDS http://www.kester.com/msds/usa%20and%20canada/english/solder%20pastes/msds%20em909%20sn96.5ag3cu0.5%20us%20(18apr05).pdf --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- DesignerCouncil Mail List provided as a free service by IPC using LISTSERV 1.8d To unsubscribe, send a message to [log in to unmask] with following text in the BODY (NOT the subject field): SIGNOFF DesignerCouncil.
