Hi all,

thanks for the long winded answers, they are a fantastic way for me to learn new things. Finding the damage seems to be tough, we are not equipped to do any of the tests, have to check if we are able to thermal shock in alcohol bath, as suggested by Jim.

Now, my culprit is a 0.100" thick 1210 package. I don't know how to judge the situation: my first idea is that thinner caps should be more resilient to flexure cracks (because this is what we see, flexure cracks as per John Maxwell's paper). Am I right?

Thanks again,

Ioan
