As a PCB designer I'm constantly bombarded to include as much as possible.
Testpoints, net name of testpoint, caps, resistors, special mounting
instructions.
I probably schedule a good extra 2 days just for silkscreen (depending on
board size).

Field service and tech.'s can't get enough of it. Its easier to look at a
schematic and a board and have ererything there.

Its a major PITA, but if you do it well, they're happy and there won't be
any soldering issues.
