Within MIL-HDBK-001D is a compilation of changes from J-STD-001 B to C to D. The first part of it is a summary compilation of the paragraph changes (like you described below), but if you look past that the second part is a detailed listing of what the changes were. -----Original Message----- From: TechNet [mailto:[log in to unmask]] On Behalf Of George Carroll Sent: Monday, April 10, 2006 4:05 PM To: [log in to unmask] Subject: Re: [TN] IPC-A-610 Rev D - What's Changed? Dan Foster from Soldering Technology International in Huntsville, AL presented an excellent seminar with those details when had a company wide training session here in Johnson City, TN. You might ask him. Importance: High Is there a quick reference available anywhere as to what actually changed in the newest revision of 610? I attended a seminar back in May of 2005 which went through the differences but we only received a list of different page references between Rev C and Rev D sections. That is helpful for those of us who were familiar with Rev C and want to cross-reference to where the new information is located in Rev D. However, there is no "list" that I know of that has each change, section by section, with a "from" and "to" format to explain what might have changed from acceptable to not acceptable, or vice versa. You can also download an "errata sheet" from the IPC website that lists three pages of errors that should be changed in the Rev D standard. But again, there is no guidance as to what has changed from acceptable to not acceptable, and vice versa. Has anyone attempted this and would you be willing to share the resulting document? I would also be willing to proof it against the standard if you don't have time to... Thanks!
