I guess I got this thru technet somehow. As long as I did let me ask
...You wouldn't know anything about solder mask problems would you? We
have a weird one that dupont (vacrel 8140) and our pc bd mfr say they've
never seen. It a chipping or lifting (hard to tell which) of solder mask
around the annular rings and along short pieces of copper traces. It
passes the pencil test and peel however. It looks like whatever happened
was an event that hasn't gotten worse - but the bds are basically
useless now.
