Hi Mike, I do not know what you mean by: "Is there somewhere I can go to review soldering issues on BeCu." I am telling you BeCu is bad news for soldering based on my experience. However, in your case you have a Ni-overplate, so BeCu is not the issue, the Ni is. You may have oxidized Ni which will give you soldering problems; the matte Sn is there to protect the underlying Ni, but it may not have done its job.
