Hi Everyone, I was wondering if anybody has used a robot for SMT placement. I have a few SMT connectors that can't be placed by my older SMT equipment and I could never justify new equipment just for these parts. We are hand placing some of the parts right now, but there is a new board on the horizon that is not layed out well for hand placing a .020" pitch connector, so I'm thinking that a low cost robot (is that an oxymoron?) might work. Any thoughts or experiences? Thanks in advance.
