Selva. They are not the same. ENIG is electroless nickel under immersion gold which is 3 to 5 micron thick and it a soft gold finish. Gold flash in applied also over nickel and is electro plated. The thickness can be made thicker than immersion gold by increasing the time in the tank. Electro plated gold can be either hard or soft. Scott B.
