Good seeing you again at APEXPO.

I heard at the show of one company whose returns for lead-free  products are
running 3% higher than those produced with traditional solders.  With razor
thin margins for many products, that is a lot. The remake doubles the  cost...
good money after bad.

Fortunately, there is a long standing, reliable and truly  environmentally
friendly solution for making good solder joints and it  is ready to step in when
lead-free falls on its face. :-)

The green-washing of lead-free as an environmentally friendly solution is,
IMHO, one of the really sad chapters of this industry's otherwise  great
history.

All that was needed was for the politicians to listen to the  scientists and
not the self-serving, ill-informed lobbyists.

And so it goes....
