Doug, are you repackage after market parts for R&O? I thought their is a "standard" flying around regarding different pack for long term storage R&O. It will cost 2 arms and many legs... for example, package key processors (like mil 286/386) in a vac can... 2 or 3 per pack (depend upon your double redenduncy or triple redenduncy design). Thanks god, many of those are gold plated leads, you shouldn't worry about it for corrosion and intermetallics.... once it in the storage, you just have to inspect the package (make sure no leak...)... far better than the aluminum foil pack, which you have to inspect the indicator every X year or so... Not sure what is the number and where is come from... But it is not the commercial "industry" for sure... Of course, if you store in Canada (sub zero temp) is better...;-) jk (1.73 cents) -----Original Message----- From: TechNet [mailto:[log in to unmask]]On Behalf Of Crepeau, Phil (Space Technology) Sent: Friday, January 20, 2006 6:17 PM To: [log in to unmask] Subject: Re: [TN] Definition the fda does. are you repackaging drugs? -----Original Message----- From: TechNet [mailto:[log in to unmask]] On Behalf Of Douglas O. Does anyone out there have an "industry standard" or legal definition of repackaging? I am talking about taking a material from one container and putting it into smaller containers. Don't ask why. My blood pressure is high enough as it is.
