Based on some of the other responses, I would volunteer that in our production, about 20 joints per 1000 need reflow, but not from dewetting. Most of the need to reflow comes from insufficient solder (heel fillets) due to all leads not being in full contact with the pad (coplanarity issues). On rare occasion there may be 1 lead in 50 thru-hole parts that has questionable solder due to dewetting. We see fewer and fewer thru-hole parts and most of them (like heavy inductors) are hand-soldered. Hope this helps, Rainer G.
