Hi Technet, Is it best to suppress unused inner pads for a pressfit connectors or is it best to keep unused inner layer pads? Would keeping the unused inner layer pads help with anchoring the barrel in the board when the press-fit connector is being assembled? Board is .062" thick, finish is IAg. Connectors have 5 rows of 22 pins = 110 pins total 2mm spacing, top side reflow, wave solder too, probably will use a solder pallet.
